The Kumho Ecsta PS91 is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Kumho offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model. Kumho covers this tire model and size with its Road Hazard Warranty. This warranty is available for tires damaged by road hazards within the first 12 months after the purchase date, or until the first 3/32�� of the tire tread wears away, whichever comes first! If this tire sustains road hazard damage (typically caused by nails, glass, or potholes) on its tread area, customers have a right to use the Road Hazard warranty for a Tire Replacement of an equivalent Kumho tire. To receive the Road Hazard warranty, customers with damaged tires must file a claim with Kumho Tires.

The tire provides excellent summer weather traction. The asymmetric tread design and the summer weather compound work together to increase the dry and wet weather road gripping ability. The tread design's ribbed pattern firmly grips the road surface, while the heat-resistant compound ensures its flexibility in summer weather. The tread's wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. However, the tire is not suitable to be driven on in winter weather as the compound and tread don't offer traction on ice- and snow-covered road surfaces.
