The Forceum Ecosa is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Forceum offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The asymmetric tread pattern with the highly detailed micro-sipes enhances the all weather traction. The tire is capable of firmly gripping the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather as a result. The multi-sipe design and the circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from beneath the tire's footprint. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and all weather traction ensure a safer year round drive.
The tire promotes a longer lasting tread life. The tread design features a stabilizer rib that maintains constant road contact and, in this manner, the tire manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure. The road contact stabilizes the tread elements and prevents tread flexing during the drive. This equally circulates the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking and ensures an extended tread life and tire usability.
The twin circumferential grooves and the shoulder tread blocks boost the tire's controllability. The circumferential grooves guarantee constant road contact which enhances the stability and the steering. The tire's structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it, while the steering becomes quick and precise in its response to the driver's commands. The shoulder tread blocks increase the number of biting edges they provide during maneuvering. This upgrades the cornering ability and power and provides a safer drive.
The Ecosa offers reduced road noise levels. The tread pattern decreases the noise the tread creates during the drive. While the tires are in motion, the tread design channels the airwaves from the footprint. This avoids the generation of the road noise as the airwaves do not come into contact with the tread elements. The decreased road noise levels promote a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
