The Westlake Radial SL369 A/T is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. Westlake offers a 40,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tread pattern design enhances the all weather traction. The large, differently shaped tread blocks and the open shoulder design provide firm grip on dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. This tread design also increases the hydroplaning resistance by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The variable tread blocks maintain a clean footprint by eliminating snow from the tread grooves. This combination ensures a safer driving experience in all conditions.
The model performs well both on and off-road. The tread design's large tread blocks, open shoulders and wide tread grooves boost the soft, loose and uneven terrain traction with ease. The tread design firm grip of the road in all terrain conditions, making it more versatile and safer to use. The variable tread blocks manage to evacuate mud and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. This keeps the tire's road contact at all times, while preventing stone retention which can potentially harm the tire's casing.
