The Kontio Tyres WhitePaw Classic is a touring, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model features a wide white sidewall, which offers a vintage aesthetic.
The tire offers great summer weather traction. It combines the summer compound with the ribbed block placement that ensures the tire's safer dry and wet weather grip. Durable rubber materials effectively combat heat build-up across the footprint. On the other hand, the tread elements increase grip on the road surface. Circumferential grooves channel water from below the footprint, actively resisting hydroplaning in wet conditions.
The ribbed block placement across the tread area helps to significantly improve its controllability. The tire manages to increase its steering responsiveness and driving stability. This enables the tire to increase its steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Additionally, the shoulder block placement with the sipes generates biting edges, optimizing its overall cornering. The sipe and groove placement create friction when stopping, significantly shortening the tire's braking distance. Their combination enables the driver's optimized control over the vehicle.
The WhitePaw Classic utilizes its stable, ribbed tread design, which minimizes road noise and vibrations. They increase comfort levels.
