This plant is a RARE variety grown using strict quality standards. This striking evergreen plant has large, marbled green and white heart-shaped leaves that are sure to be the focal point of any plant collection. This plant needs to be kept consistently moist, but not wet. They should be allowed to retain a small amount of moisture at all times. That said you need to be careful that it does not dry rot. Using a liquid fertilizer, which contains a more or less equal ratio of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium will work best. Fertilize about once every 6 weeks in the growing season (spring and summer) and once every 8-12 weeks in the autumn and winter. Alocasia Dawn is large, upright plant that does well indoors as well as on covered patios provided the necessary conditions are right. They do best in bright, indirect light. Do not place them in direct sunlight. The light needs to be bright but indirect or if indoors, filtered through a curtain or shade cloth to prevent leaves from scorching and burning.
